I feel like I haven’t done a product review in quite sometime. The last one that I did was ‘Mtv Muah by Blue heaven lip gloss‘. I wanted to review a couple of nail polishes today.. But oh,well.. This has been long overdue! I have another product review coming soon. Hopefully I will get it up before November ends because December is my ‘exam month’ and I won’t be able to blog the whole month 😦

Color Essence is another Indian drugstore brand. It is a little bit more expensive than Elle 18, but still it is pretty good 🙂

It is easily available on Ebay, Jabong, Nykaa, Amazon. But I haven’t seen them in stores nor have I seen any counter near me.

PACKAGING

It comes inside a neat cardboard box (left). The gloss bottle it transparent so you can see the color inside. I think it is made of glass. So it is little fragile.

This is a very sweet color. This is ‘my lips but better’ kind of color. I prefer such lip colors for college because I don’t want bold /bright/eye-catchy lip colors. I prefer the no make-up make-up look and this looks perfect with it. It comes with a doe foot applicator( which I forgot to photograph). It looks so glossy. I love the way it looks on me ❤ It stays for about 6 hours but the color stays only for 2.5-3.5 hours. It definitely moisturizers my lips. Even after 6 hours, I can feel it on my lips but there is no color on them. However, these are extremely sticky and hence they moisturize so well. My hair gets stuck sometimes, if it is let loose. So I carefully plan my ‘Lip color’ Schedule 😛

They do not settle into fine lines either. I did not swatch it because the color didn’t come out well on my skin and I hate doing lip swatches. But the pigmentation is a little above average. Since it is a liquid lip color, It is kind of expected! If I have only chap stick underneath, I add about 2-3 layers of this. If I have a lipstick underneath, I add just one swipe of it. If more than 3 layers are added, it feels heavy.
