Fish Braid Tail
My friend is very light-skinned. She preferred dark colors and she had short nails on her right. I thought of many designs but she got so confused because she loved all my designs and she wanted all of them but alas she has only ten fingers 😛 She wanted water marble, angry birds, rainbow, galaxy nails.. Everything 😀
Her nails were really short so I suggested a fish braid tail. She picked out the colors which she thought she liked and best-suited her skin. They were similar to the tutorial posted by MissJenFabulous. But anyway..
Luckily we found a piece of clothing very similar to the color combination 😉
There are a lot of tutorials of ‘Fish Braid Tail’ on the internet. Who do you give the credit for ? 😛
Galaxy Nails 2.0
My friends were here yesterday, they particularly were very excited to get their nails done 🙂 I was too, because I usually do my nails and my mom’s. This was the very first time that I got to do it for others and I was worried how it would turn out. Luckily they did come out quite as imagined in my head 😀
I know that I have done galaxy nails before. My friend loved it so much that she didn’t want anything else on her nails. Plus, she had very short nails. Comparatively, I would say this is an improvement.
As used in the previous galaxy nails, I used ‘Starry Night’ as my base coat.I dabbed a little bit f the ‘Pink Sand‘ and a deep purple color to give the nebula effect. I applied ‘Moonlight’ as the top coat.
This was sent to me by one of my friends ( A guy, do you believe it :D) I love minions too, so I decided to minion nails inspired by this picture down below. He just sent this pic over whatsapp, I searched it over the internet to give credits, but I couldn’t find it 😦
Both my black paints have become so thick, I just realized it when I opened the bottle. It started sticking a lot and became thready like which is why it got all over the yellow 😦
This ring finger is my absolute favorite 😀
I wanted to see how it looked with B&W effect 😛
The colors really show up on the camera !
I hope that this is as close to my ‘inspiration’ My friends loved it ❤ Hope you do too.
I love reading your comments, make sure you leave one 🙂
Initially I wanted to do water spotted nails with pink, but that did not work out and I ended up using this shimmery red with which i tested. I learnt this fro YouTube from ‘cutepolish’. I’ll provide the link down below for the tutorial. It is a technique very similar to water marbling, but slightly differs in the procedure and the outcome is TOTALLY different but awesome ❤ I hope you guys like this 🙂

I mattified the effect as I didn’t want it to be glossy but I’m not sure if it’s seen
I was going through YouTube ( My guru 😀 ) to find a DIY matte polish. I knew the usual method. For those of you who don’t know, it is mixing clear polish with cornstarch and applying it as a top coat. But I came across this interesting technique, I’ll link the video down below, where the freshly applied nail polish (i.e. the nail polish should be wet if this technique needs to work) is placed over steam for sometime, it turns matte. It did work! 🙂

My absolute fav 😀
I dipped my finger in the wrong place, so couldn’t get the exact design on and I was too lazy to redo it 😀
I used a cup of room temperature water 🙂
I used water spotted technique for which you need to use something that contains alcohol, such as deodorant, hair spray, hand sanitizer, perfume etc
I tried it with almost all of the above mentioned things but it worked well with this old, expired bottle of hairspray 😀
I applied one coat of base coat followed by two layers of my base color. And I applied tape around my nails
My thumb, index and middle finger came out ok-ok ( They kinda became ‘tested’ nails 😀 ) Finally, the ring and pinky came out well.. *relief* 😀
I am obsessed with rainbows! I love the color combo in rainbows.
